Juliana Nason, MA, LMHC, CMHS, NCC
Juliana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Child Mental Health Specialist in private practice, specializing in counseling for the childbearing years. This may include mood disorders in pregnancy and the postpartum period, infertility, miscarriage and neonatal loss, preparing abuse survivors for birth, healing from birth trauma, facilitating attachment and bonding, and parenting consultation and support. She also has extensive experience providing therapy for children and adults for a wide variety of issues, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and trauma. She holds a Post-Masters certification in foster care and adoption therapy.
Juliana is currently the Vice-Chair for Postpartum Support International of Washington, and Washington State Coordinator for Postpartum Support International. She is also involved with ConceivABLE, a local consortium of fertility experts and health care providers dedicated to improving the reproductive potential of individuals through emotional, spiritual and physical means. Her practice, Chrysalis Counseling Services, is located in Everett, Washington, and is part of a multidisciplinary family medicine clinic, Sound Holistic Health. She provides services to those in Snohomish, King, and Skagit Counties, and, in some cases, other areas around the state.
In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Juliana is a Certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner. She offers private childbirth instruction for growing families. HypnoBirthing® shows women how to use their natural
instincts to bring about a safer, easier, more comfortable birthing. Emphasis is placed on pregnancy and childbirth, as well as on pre-birth parenting and the consciousness of the pre-born baby.
